Ecemnaz Dalmaz (Istanbul, 1992) began her education at Istanbul Fashion Academy and later graduated from the Journalism Department of Istanbul Aydın University in 2014. Dalmaz expresses the ups and downs of her life through characters depicted in her paintings. In addition to her personal stories, the characters also bear traces of the political environment in the country where the artist resides. Utilizing various techniques on fabric and canvas, the artist recently embarked on a new project called "whoknows," creating unique handmade designs with a tufting machine.
